FRAG is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated OS&M GLOBAL CATEGORY MANAGER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. According to the strategy defined by the Director of Procurement OS&M is responsible for the implementation of the Procurement strategy for the Category of products and services of reference - across platforms and regions - within the OS&M business area. Requirements - Proven experience of relevant and successful strategic category management within Railway system stakeholders;
- Extensive demonstrable experience in successfully leading the negotiation of contracts across technical, commercial and legal areas;
- Excellent functional Procurement experience managing Global Categories across multiple geographies. Is able to include knowledge and experience of world-class category management and sourcing practices;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to champion the vision of the organisation;
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload;
- Ability to facilitate multiple activities at any one time, and effectively communicate current positions;
- Experience working across international borders, and good professional command of English and preferably Italian language;
- Proven track record of consistent performance and delivery. Can make things happen;

- Strong project and change management capabilities;
- Experience of leading, motivating and developing people through difficult period/ large change program;
- Ability to balance total cost of ownership (TCO), strategic delivery;
- Knowledge of Client global rail business strategy and how it impacts its Operations Service and Maintenance Procurement;
- Ability to operate effectively in different cultures and across geographies, including managing stakeholders and colleagues remotely (across distance and time zones);
- For materials, ability to effectively undertake Value Analysis and Value Engineering to identify and drive benefit opportunities.
Education / Qualifications Graduate qualification (ideally Master Degree educated), (and/or) proven experience in the Rail Industry of at least 5 years. Engineering Mechanics degree or equivalent preferable. Languages English and Italian Proficiency Languages Napoli |
