MATERIAL MANAGER

FRAG srl is looking for a Material Manager who have experience in industrial machinery as Painting (CCL) and Galvanizing (CGL) line plant for industrial sector in USA.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee material movement through production cycle.
• Identify material requirements from production and engineering cycles.
• Handle material movement with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Manage policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Assess and plan purchasing materials requirements.
• Develop material requirements plans on automated computer system.
• Set up and manage production control system.
• Develop department budget.
• Create purchase orders, solicit proposal bids and review goods requisitions.
• Analyze price proposals and financial reports to identify reasonable prices.
• Negotiate and administer supplier contracts.
• Support buyer to negotiations with suppliers on lead time, cost, delivery and quality
• Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
• Interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments

Requirements:

• Diploma in Technical fields (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics role
• Previous experience in industrial machinery
• Knowledge of Painting Line (CCL)
• Knowledge of Continous Galvanizing Line (CGL)
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
• Very good experience with forecasting and budgeting
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of English language
