FIELD ENGINEERING MANAGER

FRAG Srl is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineering Manager (FEM) to oversee the technical aspects of our pipeline project in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engineering management, preferably within the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and contractor for all technical field engineering matters
• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ internal resources to support on-site operations
• Monitor progress in detailed design and procurement, collaborating closely with the construction team to ensure work package readiness and optimize the construction schedule
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between detailed design and on-site conditions, proposing effective solutions and securing necessary approvals
• Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager to facilitate a smooth transition between design office activities and on-site execution
• Work closely with the Commissioning Manager to prepare essential engineering documentation for commissioning plans, procedures, and instructions

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in the petrochemical or oil and gas sectors, with a focus on international projects
• Proven experience in pipeline projects and a strong understanding of Middle Eastern client standards
• Fluent knowledge in English, both written and spoken
