FIELD ENGINEER - INSTRUMENT

FRAG Srl is looking for a Field Instrument Engineer for Oil & Gas project.

The Candidate will have to manage the project in the Construction phase, supervising the instrumentation design package defined by the engineering.

The Engineer will choose the appropriate technology and suppliers, and manage the system's installation through to completion, also ensuring that contractual agreed quantities of instrument equipment are available to finish the project.

Responsibilities: 

• Check datasheet and technical drawings to ensure they are followed correctly
• Translate technical specifications into functional design
• Management of instrument & control parts of construction projects
• Support time schedule planning in close relationship with construction and commissioning
• Supervise construction activities
• Supervision of vendors and instrument packages contracts
• Ensure projects follow the specifications, budgets or timescales
• Provide technical advice and resolve problems on site
• Issue technical system specifications from P&ID Diagram
• Supporting Construction and Commissioning in all technical issues with the defined working package such as commissioning tests preparation
• Preparing weekly/monthly reports and compiling other design-related documents
• Interact with internal and external organizations (suppliers/vendors)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or similar discipline
• At least 5 years experience in detailed engineering and design of Instrumentation & Control works for Oil & Gas projects
• Previous experience as Field Engineer, having managed Instrument & Control packages
• Experience in INTOOLS (SPI) software (preferred)
• Very good knowledge of English language (written / spoken)

Duration: 9 months renewables
