On behalf of a prestigious client operating in the Metalworking/Manufacturing sector, we are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager who will report directly to the Senior Branch Manager.The role aims to support daily operations and the strategic growth of the branch network, with increasing levels of autonomy and independence. Key activities & Responsabilities:Work closely with the Senior Branch Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure service excellence;Support people management activities, including performance evaluation and team development;Analyze branch performance metrics and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes;Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements;Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture;Identify and implement process improvements;Share operational insights, performance data, and strategic feedback with HQ;Represent the branch in meetings, audits, and community initiatives;Interact professionally with customers, local authorities, and tax agencies to ensure smooth operations and compliance;Prepare for future independent branch leadership through hands-on experience and training.Requirements:Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields;2-5 years of experience in operations, management, or a similar role (e.g. Site Manager);Strong availability for long-term assignments and frequent travel (within Europe); Good knowledge of english.Preferred requirements:Work experience abroad or in international environments;Experience in multi-site or branch operations;Familiarity with performance metrics and reporting tools;Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.Soft skills: the ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
