ER Services Sagl is looking for a COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER -TECHNICAL PRODUCTS for a global PVC film manufacturer with headquarters in Varese, IT. Key Responsibilities Identify and qualify business opportunities within assigned regions. Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers.
Sales and Business Development Analyse market trends and competitors activities to identify opportunities and risks. Develop sales strategies to expand market share. Identify, prospect, and develop new clients, agents, and distributors. Formulate pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients. Develop and implement action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Conduct regular customer visits and provide reports. Attend trade fairs and industry events to gather market and product insights and engage with prospects and clients. Contribute to the development of new products and solutions. Monitor sales performance and report regularly to senior management.
Financial Management Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts. Negotiate payment terms and oversee payment collection. Assess and mitigate risks related to currency fluctuations, credit, and market volatility. Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and adjustments as needed. Generate reports and statistical analyses for management.
Leadership and Collaboration Work cross-functionally with Production, Supply, Customer Service, and Finance to align export activities with business goals. Provide training and support to the customer service team.
Education & Qualifications Bachelors degree (MBA preferred). 5-8 years of experience in business development and commercial execution, preferably in the thermoplastic industry. Proven track record in achieving export sales targets and expanding market share. Strong knowledge of international trade, logistics, and customs procedures. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus). Availability to travel internationally as needed.
