PROJECT ENGINEER

FRAG is looking for a Project Engineer for an Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia.

The candidate will be in in close contact with the Headquarter in Rome for the develop of the project.

The profile will be in charge of the confirming equipment selection, coordinating schedule for drafting and manufacturing, technical bid evaluations process with sub vendors, assure the maintaining a cost budget, handling technical and commercial correspondence as required, identify scope changes and manage opportunities for change orders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review Order file and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation
• Confirms equipment selection and design and perform / coordinate required calculations and sketches to establish equipment design
• Coordinates drafting for job.  Makes sure all required drawings are completed.  Reviews customer mark-up prints and instructs drafting as to disposition
• Establishes and track the cost budget for jobs by working with Sales Department and cost specialists.
• Maintain delivery schedule for job based on Customer requirements and the Company workloads, including coordination of drafting, purchasing, manufacturing and quality control. Prepare Material requisitions and RFQ’s as scheduled with the Head of Projects, in order to meet the delivery date
• Informs Quality Control Department of customer / job specifications
• Coordinates all required technical correspondence related to the job.  This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the Customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants
• Instructs drafting and support staff when and what drawings are to be sent to any parties involved in the project
• Notifies sales and estimating departments when changes occur to the scope of supply and/or design of the equipment that affect the price
• Coordinates price resolution with Customer concerning price revisions

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, etc.)
• At least 5 years experience as Project Engineer with international EPC project
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas Sectors background (Upstream/Downstream Plants)
• Previous experience with manage activities directly on site
• Knowledge of technical drawings, project documents, specifications and method statements
• Fluent knowledge of English languages
