FRAG is looking for a Construction Manager for a Gas pipeline project in Iraq.
Main Responsibilities: - Follow up and supervision of the Subcontractor's Temporary Construction Facilities installation (i.e.: camps, accommodations, offices, warehouse, workshop, etc.)
- Single Interface with Client site representatives for the proper coordination of all site activities and HSE related issues
- Monitoring and coordination of discipline supervisors
- Monitoring and coordination with QA/QC and HSE Managers
- Monitoring of construction works progress with the support of project planner
- Monitoring of construction works till Mechanical Completion and Commissioning
- Reviewing and approving the extra works and additional works proposed by Subcontractors (and finally approved by Project Manager)
- Highlighting all potential risks and criticalities at site
- Proposing and settling the required corrective actions in order to recover any delay
- Periodical reporting to Project Manager
- Supervise the cost controlling of construction works activities, including field running costs
Requirements: - Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- At least 10 years previous experience in the same role
- Oil & Gas Sectors background (Upstream/Downstream Plants)
- Previous experience in a pipeline projects
- Knowledge of technical drawings, project documents, specifications and method statements
- Proficient knowledge in Planning Management and Material Control
- Fluent knowledge of English languages
