SITE HSE MANAGER

FRAG srl, on behalf of one of its leading customers in the field of industrial construction, is looking for a Site HSE Manager who has an excellent knowledge of the German language to be included in an open-cycle Power Generation Plant located in Germany.

He will oversee the implementation of predefined policies and prevention plans for safety in the workplace in relation to the maintenance of organizational standards and the achievement of objectives. 

Main Duties:

• Implement HSE management systems at site level, according to the Company HSE guidelines and standards
• Ensure the management of all the HSE issues for the site
• Develop and ensure the implementation of the HSE Management System in compliance with the international standards 
• Ensure that all site's activities are conducted in strict accordance with Client HSE Standards
• Ensure the implementation and compliance with the HSE plans and procedures
• Act as HSE focal point for the work developed at site level
• Develop an emergency response plan for any identified potential event
• Establish an HSE monitoring and audit program
• Promote environmental and safety awareness among the workforce and hold regular site meetings with supervisors, workers, subcontractors
• Provide HSE support and advice to the project/site management
• Interface with Clients and Authority
• Ensure protection of Environmental Sensitive areas
• Establish an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations
• Develop Occupational Safety Risk Assessment
• Take part in accident /incident investigation
• Ensure Project HSE training and Induction programs implementation at site level
• Promote periodical site HSE Review

Requirements:

• Safety/engineering education, with appropriate certifications
• At least 5 years' experience in the same role in Power/Oil&Gas /Construction Industry
• Advanced knowledge of German language (spoken and written) 
• Knowledge of local Occupational Safety and Health Laws 
• Knowledge of main important international standards on HSE management system 
• Knowledge and the correct use of Permit to Work system
