CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

FRAG Srl, on behalf of an important Customer, is looking for a Construction Manager who will supervise the progress of the works for the construction of a combined cycle cogeneration plant.

The person will have to manage the execution of the works for the construction phase, according with the project and the company regulations and standards. 

Main activities:

• Management of on-site activities and personnel
• Supervision of the execution of the works and implementation of construction activities
• Verification of the arrival of materials and equipment to the site
• Manage the construction and pre-commissioning phase
• Monitoring the Quality in compliance with the customers' standards
• Coordination with QA/QC Manager
• Follow up and supervision of Subcontractors
• Manage the progress of works, producing related weekly progress reports, proposing corrective measures if necessary
• Management of personnel on-site entrances 
• Interface with the Site Manager for the solution of any contractual, technical or organizational problem that may arise in the field
• Interface with Engineering Departments, Client and Vendors representatives in the execution of the job
• Promote Contractor HSE policy through Client and Sub-Contractors
• Check safety documentation, inform the Safety Manager, as well as the Site Manager, of emerging anomalies or deficiencies in the application of safety and environmental protection rules

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in electrical or mechanical discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Electro-mechanical background
• At least 5 years of experience in the Power field as Construction Manager
• Proven experience in multi-disciplinary constructions and management of construction site activities
• Knowledge of the HSE standard regulations
• Very good knowledge of English language
